What it tastes like
Puckery and salty, like the sourest pickle you've ever had crossed with a fruit. Often tinted pink with shiso.
Where you’ll see it
Onigiri, ochazuke, sushi rolls with shiso, dressings, and as a paste or seasoning salt at Japanese restaurants.
